SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 27
(By Senator Schoonover)
Requesting the governor to authorize the West Virginia
commissioner of highways to increase the maximum speed limit

highways and interstate highways which are suited for higher
speed limits to seventy miles per hour on interstate
highways and to sixty-five miles per hour on the state's
corridors and controlled-access highways, effective July 1,

may increase the speed limits on corridors, limited access highways and interstate highways if agreed to by the Legislature
and implemented by the governor; therefore, be it
